This is my own story in question in order to tell here. I start by opening presents two nights earlier. The next morning we eat a quick festive breakfast and take a timed walk as well. Then later on Xmas eve in the afternoon we finish opening the rest too. Best wishes.

It is fun. After that we have a early dinner of a few mince pies, hot fresh tomato soup and homemade hamburgers with cups of white wine. On Xmas morning we eat half of the roast chicken and stuffing at breakfast. For lunch and dinner there is mainly leftover soup, stuffing, fresh fruit and chicken with white wine. We play card and board games. We catch up on a festive film. And we sing carols. Then we write poems.

I don’t make a traditional meal anymore these days. On Boxing Day after a early lunch at ten we go to the sales for two hours. Then we have a nap and shower. By half past four we will have also eaten a hearty dinner. It consists of any wrapped up leftovers. Usually this is the last of the roast chicken, tomato soup, hamburgers and fresh fruit. Again wine is served.

It is good to focus on what works for you and your family, and not what we think we should be doing or comparing ourselves to others.
